Our Story
The Limping Fox opened its doors in July 2017. A family run business, set up following the success of our first award-winning pub; The Victoria Park in Bristol. A labour of love to provide the perfect environment to enjoy a delicious meal, have drinks with friends or spend an afternoon with the whole family in our south-facing garden.
Our attitude has never changed; to serve high quality wines, a vast range of premium spirits, craft beers and local ales at affordable prices. The menu revolves around the best ingredients we can find, lovingly prepared and crafted into unique and delicious dishes.
We have received great reviews and have also won the Best British Roast Dinner for the south of England, which has encouraged us to constantly move with the times and aim to be one of the best pubs in the area.

Whatâs on at The Limping Fox
At The Limping Fox all our food is freshly prepared by our extremely talented team of chefs.
The menu changes weekly, but we always have pizzas and burgers as standard.
Happy Hour Monday - Friday 4pm-7pm Limping Fox
2 for 1 pizzas all day Sunday night from 5pm.
Fortnightly Pub Quiz
The winning team earn themselves a ÂŁ50 bar tab, a bottle of house wine for second place and the chance to win free drinks! Maximum 6 players per team and ÂŁ2.50 entry per person.
The quiz will now take place every other Wednesday at 7.30pm. Any changes will be announced on our social media channels and advertised in the pub.

Art Exhibitions at The Limping Fox
At The limping Fox we love to showcase the work of local artists.
About the artist
Nigel was born in London and grew up in Surrey before moving to Glasgow at the age of 12. He returned to England at the age of 18 to study art & design in Carlisle and The Hornsey College of Art in London.
Nigel graduated with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design. He went on to become a distinguished Design Consultant for globally recognised brands such as Alcan, BT, British Airways, Shell and BMW, collecting many creative awards. In 2017, Nigel embarked on a new chapter, focusing on his own artistic endeavours, marking the beginning of a remarkable new career.
Nigelâs artwork is also showcased in George Harrisonâs childhood home in Upton Green and The Beatles Museum in Liverpool. His success in online sales and collaborations has further solidified his status as a visionary artist with a global following.
About the Limping Fox Pub exhibition
At the heart of âAN ART DAYâS NIGHTâ lies Nigelâs innovative project, inspired by the timeless lyrics of The Beatles. The collection contains over thirty graphic artworks, each a unique interpretation of the iconic songs that have defined generations. On display at The Limping Fox is a special selection of twelve artworks. Prints are available to purchase in a range of sizes. From âA Hard Dayâs Nightâ to âA Day in the Lifeâ, Nigelâs creations breathe new life into the work of the fab four, offering a fresh perspective on the band's legendary discography.

âAbsolutely fabulous pub which didnât disappoint despite a mass booking for 25 people celebrating after the Hampton Court half marathon on 15th Feb. The pub was not due to open until 12 but let us in 30 mins early as it was pouring with rain and some of the runners were in danger of getting a chill. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Highly recommended and many thanks to Liam and the team for being so proactive and helpful.â

âI was staying local and went out for a walk in the hope of finding myself a nice pub roast at the end of it and luckily stumbled across the Limping Fox.
I never booked so was seated on a big table at the back of the pub not great but my choice but within 10 minutes the lovely girl that seated me asked "did i want to move to nicer table at the front" i was moved to a bright and warm table at the front and was served the best roast i have ever had in a pub, honestly it was cooked perfectly and had so many flavours, i gladly would have paid more at full price but they had some sort of offer on i didnt even know this at the time.
100% would recommend the Limping Fox for anybody who wants really good food and a nice smile and welcome from both girls behind the bar thank you all including the Chef and hopefully be back in the near the future.â
